Boat trips in Sharm El Sheikh
This page lists our 13 boat and snorkelling trips from Sharm El Sheikh, from $18 for the glass-bottom boat to $500 for a private yacht. Group trips collect you at your hotel gate and bring you back. You can book online and pay nothing today, or send us a message and we will make the booking for you.
Most reef days from Sharm go to Ras Mohammed National Park or to Tiran Island. The full-day boats leave the port after an 8:00 pickup, make three swim stops and serve lunch on board. The shorter trips take two to four hours and suit families with young children or anyone who would rather see the reef through glass.

White Island, Ras Mohammed or Tiran: which boat trip to choose
White Island and Ras Mohammed is the trip most guests book. The boat makes three stops for snorkelling or swimming in the open sea, then anchors at White Island, where you get about 20 minutes on the sandbank. Tiran Island also has three stops, and its reefs are known for large fish, turtles and the wrecks of ships that sank decades ago. Both are days of about nine hours: White Island from $30, Tiran from $30.
The Sina Dream pirate boat also sails to the Ras Mohammed reefs with three snorkelling stops and serves a seafood lunch. Ras Mohammed by bus takes about five hours instead of nine: Allah's Gate, the mangroves, a swim in the Lake of Wishes and snorkelling from the shore, back around 14:00.
Snorkelling trips in Sharm: gear and intro dives
Masks, snorkels and fins are rented separately on the group boat trips, at the diving centre on the way, or for less if you pre-order them through us. On the White Island and Tiran trips you can add an intro dive for a fee: an instructor takes you to 3 to 6 m for up to 10 minutes, with no certificate needed.
Staying dry: glass-bottom boat, semi-submarine and Aqua Mix
The glass-bottom boat is the lowest-priced sea trip, from $18, with one hour over the reef and pickups at 10:00 or 14:00. The Royal Seascope semi-submarine has an air-conditioned lower deck with large windows. The ride lasts about an hour, you can see corals, fish and turtles, and drinks on board cost extra. Neither trip involves swimming.
Aqua Mix fills a morning with a banana ride, a sofa boat, a 7-minute parachute flight and an hour on a glass-bottom boat. Parasailing on its own is a 5-minute flight up to 100 m; two people can fly together if they weigh no more than 150 kg combined.
Private speedboats, yachts and dinner cruises
The private speedboat for 2 hours or for 3 hours takes up to six people at a time you agree with us. You stop where you like, near a wreck when the weather allows or in sheltered lagoons, and snorkelling gear is provided if you have none. The private yacht is a full day to White Island and Ras Mohammed or to Tiran, with lunch and soft drinks; its price depends on the yacht.
The evening cruises on the pirate yacht and the yacht Fantastic pick you up around 17:00 and bring you back around 22:00, with a buffet dinner, a tanura dancer, belly dancing and live music. Soft drinks are included; Turkish coffee and fresh juice are extra.

We might ask you to send a photo of your passport. This reduces the waiting time in the port or when leaving the reserved areas of Sharm el-Sheikh by booking everything in advance. In response to your request, we will send the bus arrival time for you. An important clarification: the bus is waiting at the gate, outside the hotel. This significantly shortens the transfer time. All excursions can be booked just one day before the desired date of visit, except for tours by plane. Also remember that: we do not take prepayment (except for excursions by plane or on an individual yacht). Payment with the guide, day to day.
