In Sharm you meet dolphins at the dolphinarium. We do not run a wild dolphin snorkelling trip here; on a private speedboat you may meet a group of dolphins at sea with a bit of luck, but there is no guarantee. The show and the swim are booked separately and run at different times of day: the swim in the morning, the show in the afternoon.

Swimming with dolphins in Sharm El Sheikh: 15 or 30 minutes
The guide meets you at the hotel gate at 10:00 and the bus takes you to the dolphin facility. Swimmers go in groups of five, with one dolphin per group. You choose a 15-minute session or a 30-minute session; the rest of the trip is the same, and you are back at the hotel around 12:00.
Bring swimwear, a towel and a hat. The dolphin show is not included in the swim, and photos from the photographer are extra.
Dolphin show in Sharm El Sheikh
The dolphin show is an afternoon trip. Pickup is around 14:00, the show lasts about an hour, with jumps and tricks to music led by the trainers, and you are back around 17:00. The entrance ticket is included.
The show needs no swimming, so it works for small children and anyone who does not want to get into the water. A swim session is not part of the show ticket. If you want both, book the two trips.
Dolphin show or swim: how to choose
If you want to be in the water next to a dolphin, book a swim session. If you are travelling with children who are not confident in the water, or you mainly want to watch, the show costs less and takes the afternoon. Both trips are short, two to three hours including transfers, so they fit around a beach day or a desert trip.

We might ask you to send a photo of your passport. This reduces the waiting time in the port or when leaving the reserved areas of Sharm el-Sheikh by booking everything in advance. In response to your request, we will send the bus arrival time for you. An important clarification: the bus is waiting at the gate, outside the hotel. This significantly shortens the transfer time. All excursions can be booked just one day before the desired date of visit, except for tours by plane.
