Marsa Alam to Luxor: pickup, journey and return
The bus collects you at your hotel gate around 3:00, so the first part of the drive is at night. The first stop on arrival is Karnak Temple, the largest ancient religious complex in the world, built over many dynasties, with its sacred lake and the wish-granting scarab. Lunch follows at a restaurant; drinks with lunch are not included.
After lunch there is a 15-minute stop at the Colossi of Memnon, plus the extra site of your version. Including the drive both ways, the day lasts about 20 hours. Sleep on the bus if you can and keep the next day free.
